Hydra is made of  80 dual nodes and is managed by 1 Bull® NovaScale® R423-E3 server.

This headnode is accessed through the address  hydra.ift.uam-csic.es or as hydra0 within the cluster.

  • 52  dual processor computation nodes (see node description below), distributed along three Bullx® Blade chassis:

  • 18 dual processor computation nodes bullx B510 (see node description below), distributed along one Bullx® Blade chassis:

  • 24 GB DDR-3 RAM 1066 Mhz Dual Rank
  • 2 SATA disks hot swap of 250 GB at 7,2krpm with RAID SAS/SATA in mirroring.
