Severo Ochoa Program
The Spanish Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation recognizes with this program world-class centres in all areas of research. An international Committee, integrated by world-leader researchers, coming from different countries and different research areas, participates in the selection process. The selected centres receive a funding of one million euro per year along a four-year period. Currently, there are 18 Severo Ochoa research centers of excellence in Spain.
