The Institute for Theoretical Physics IFT UAM-CSIC welcomed a group of 65 students from IM Panagiotopoulos (First Lyceum) as part of their educational trip to Madrid. The activity was part of their international training program, aimed at bringing students closer to leading scientific institutions.
During their visit to the IFT, the students attended a presentation on research in cosmology, quantum fields, gravity and string theory, delivered by Professor Savvas Nesseris, accompanied by Greek researchers George Alestas, Alexandros Papageorgiou, and Andreana Makridou.
The team showed the students the main research lines of the institute and answered their questions about fundamental physics and the working dynamics of an international research center.
