Title: Exploring Effective Theories of Gauged Chiral Symmetries at the LHC and Beyond
Speaker: Felix Yu (Mainz U.)

Abstract: I discuss theoretical issues with constructing effective theories of gauged chiral symmetries, taking a quark-universal U(1)_B symmetry as an example. I will review the phenomenology of the Z-Z’-photon vertex and point out novelties regarding a non-renormalization theorem and connections to electroweak loop calculations and dimensional regularization. I also present the collider signatures from the exotic scalar sector and the characteristic nature of non-decoupling chiral matter.
