As part of the International Year of Quantum Science, the IFT and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum held the event 100 Years of Quantum Physics, a public outreach gathering that brought together science, art, and philosophy.

Before a full auditorium, physicists José Ignacio Latorre and Juan Ignacio Cirac delivered keynote lectures on the origins, advances, and promises of quantum physics, ranging from its philosophical implications to the technological challenge of quantum computers.

Between the two talks, Miguel Peiró explored the connections between art and science, using Cubism as a metaphor for quantum information, and championed wonder as an entry point for scientific communication, emphasizing that inspiration equally nourishes both artists and scientists.
