Title: Precision Tests of the Standard Model Using Effective Field Theories

Abstract: Precision tests of the Standard Model rely on comparing accurate and model-independent theoretical predictions with experimental measurements. Effective field theory methods are widely used to make reliable predictions of Standard Model quantities, as well as to systematically parameterize contributions from unknown new physics effects. I will summarize the current status of the Standard Model, and indications for new physics.
