Abstract: The extended Higgs sectors are often introduced to explain phenomena beyond the standard model. On the other hand, the existence of multiple scalar fields may cause the Landau pole below the Planck scale. Therefore, those models should be replaced by more fundamental theory at high energies. In this talk, we consider an asymptotic-free SU(2) gauge theory as a UV-completion of the extended Higgs models and assume they are the consequence of confinement of the gauge theory. We find that particle contents of various extended Higgs sectors previously proposed are deduced by each charge assignment of flavor symmetry of the fundamental fermions of the SU(2) gauge symmetry.
