Abstract: I give an overview and appreciation of quantum field theory, the most precisely tested theory in physics. The talk is addressed to those without any knowledge of quantum field theory. It is based on my textbook Quantum Field Theory in a Nutshell and my semi-popular book Quantum Field Theory, as Simply as Possible (both published by Princeton University Press.)
