In a recent <\/span><\/span>event in Madrid<\/span><\/a><\/span>, the alliance of the <\/span><\/span>Severo Ochoa and Mar\u00eda de Maeztu research centres and units<\/span><\/a><\/span> (SOMMa) expressed its concern about the reduction of financing for R+D+I, and the administrative problems that constrain Spanish science. As well, the alliance presented the \u201c<\/span><\/span>SOMMa Position Paper: Actions required to safeguard science competitiveness<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u201d to all Spanish parliamentary groups in order for them to address these problems as soon as possible.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
