Atracción de Talento César Nombela 2024

The Institute for Theoretical Physics UAM-CSIC, Madrid, welcomes expressions of interest for fixed-term faculty positions under the Atraccion de Talento Investigador César Nombela programme of the Madrid regional government.

These are 5-year positions with an additional research grant of up to 200 k€. The official application period is expected to be in April 2024. Details will appear in the next few weeks at

Interested candidates with scientific expertise in the areas of particle phenomenology, astroparticle physics, string theory, gravitation and cosmology, lattice and quantum field theory, or quantum information theory, should send an expression of interest within April 5, 2024, in order to undergo a pre-selection procedure, including the following information:

-First Name

-Last Name

-Email

-Field of Interest

-Updated CV, including list of publications

-Research proposal

-Names and addresses of at least two referees who can send a letter of recommendation on the applicants behalf. (The referees will be contacted afterwards)
