Abstract:

Last June the ATLAS Collaboration measured a 3.4 sigma excess in the search for heavy resonances decaying into two heavy (W or Z) vector bosons in the fully hadronic channel. Hopefully, this will correspond to a new particle with a mass around 2 TeV but the situation is far from clear. I will briefly review and summarise several measurements carried out by ATLAS and CMS on diboson production, pointing out the reasons to be optimistic and the reasons to be skeptical about this excess actually being a diboson. I will also present a possible interpretation where the diboson is really a triboson.
