Graham Ross

The Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT is greatly saddened by the passing of Prof. Graham Ross of Oxford, yesterday October 31. He was a great physicist who did important work in the Standard Model of Particle Physics, such as the prediction of gluon jets in e+ e- colliders. Furthermore, he was an extremely influential figure in the paradigm of Unification and Supersymmetry Beyond the Standard Model. He was also a friend of the IFT who visited regularly the institute and was a keynote speaker at the inaugural IFT conference in 2011. Graham was also a personal friend and a mentor of various generations of IFT physicists. We would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
