SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Jos Vermaseren is visiting us Dr. Jos Vermaseren from Nikhef Amsterdam is visiting the IFT for the period February 1st to March 1st, 2019. His office number is 401. Jos Vermaseren's research focuses on calculations in perturbative field theory, with excursions into mathematics and computer science whenever this is needed for his main topic.
Dr. Raffaele Savelli is visiting us Dr. Raffaele Savelli from University of Rome - Tor Vergata is visiting the IFT for the period January 28th to February 1st, 2019. His office number is 401. His research interests include: String Theory, focusing in particular on string compactifications to four dimensions and on their low energy effective physics.
Dr. Muhammad Rehman is visiting us Dr. Muhammad Rehman from Comsats University Islamabad is visiting the IFT for the period January 22nd to February 1st, 2018. His office number is 316. His research interests are mainly focused on the effects of flavor violation in the standard model and new physics models in particular supersymmetric ones.
Dr. Chiara Caprini is visiting us Dr. Chiara Caprini from AstroParticle and Cosmology Center, Paris is visiting the IFT for the period January 14th to 18th, 2019. Her office number is 109. Her research interests include: gravitational wave background of cosmological origin, gravitational waves from compact binaries, primordial magnetic fields (generation and constraints), primordial phase transitions, dark energy and scalar fields in cosmology, physics of the Cosmic Microwave Background. She will give the IFT Colloquium "Observing gravitational waves from space with LISA" on January 17th at 11h at the Blue Room.
