Talk by Juan García-Bellido about new perspectives in modern cosmology
  • The outreach talk will take place on Tuesday, February 20, at 7:00 PM at the Ramón Areces Foundation - Auditorium. Address: Calle Vitruvio, 5, 28006, Madrid.

During this presentation, Juan García-Bellido will provide a fresh outlook on the nature of dark matter and dark energy, undoubtedly the greatest mysteries of Modern Cosmology. He will begin by describing what they are, how recent cosmological observations have allowed for precise measurements, and ultimately propose a highly fundamental interpretation in terms of General Relativity, Thermodynamics, and Quantum Mechanics.
