Martín de los Rios, new postdoctoral researcher at IFT

Martín de los Rios obtained his degree in Astronomy at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina. After that, he obtained his PhD at the same University, focusing on topics related with the application of machine learning techniques to different astronomical problems. From 2019 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the ICTP-SAIFR in São Paulo (Brazil), where he conducted research on the estimation of dark matter galaxy profiles with deep learning methods. His main research interest are cosmology, astro-particles and machine learning/statistical methods. Dr. de los Rios comes to the IFT as a new postdoctoral fellow to work on dark matter direct detection as part of the superCDMS collaboration.
