SO(IFT) Research Associate visitors

SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Victor Fadin is visiting us Dr. Victor Fadin from Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS, Novosibirk, Russia is visiting the IFT for the period November 29th to December 13th, 2018. His office number is 316. His research interests are: Quantum Electrodynamics and Quantum Chromodinamics, in particular, radiative corrections, gluon and quark reggeization, evolution equations.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Alberto Ramos is visiting us Dr. Alberto Ramos from Trinity College Dublin is visiting the IFT for the period October 22nd to 26th, 2018. His office number is 216. His research interests are non-perturbative aspects of Quantum Field Theories, Lattice field theory and QCD (the theory of the strong interactions).
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Antonio Delgado is visiting us Dr. Antonio Delgado from University of Notre Dame is visiting the IFT for the period October 15th to 19th, 2018. His office number is 401. His research interests are: LHC phenomenology of different models beyond the SM.
SO(IFT) Distinguished Prof. Nima Arkani-Hamed Prof. Nima Arkani-Hamed from IAS – Princeton is visiting the IFT for the period September 19th to 21st, 2018. His office number is B03. One of the leading particle physics phenomenologists of his generation, Nima Arkani-Hamed is concerned with the relation between theory and experiment. His research has shown how the extreme weakness of gravity, relative to other forces of nature, might be explained by the existence of extra dimensions of space, and how the structure of comparatively low-energy physics is constrained within the context of string theory. He has taken a lead in proposing new physical theories that can be tested at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland. He will give the IFT Colloquium "Unification and Fundamental Physics: A status report" on 21st September at 12h at the CFTMAT auditorium (yellow room).
