 | Dr. Stanley Brodsky is visiting us | Dr. Stanley Brodsky from SLAC-Stanford is visiting IFT for the period March 19th to 23rd, 2018. His office number is B03. His research interests are focused on high-energy theoretical physics, light-cone quantization, perturbative and non-perturbative quantum chromodynamics; especially exclusive processes and the quark-gluon structure of hadrons in QCD; fundamental problems in atomic and nuclear physics. He will give the IFT Colloquium "Physics on the Light-Front and Novel QCD Phenomena" on 22nd March at 15h at the Blue Room. His research interests are focused around string theory, quantum field theory and the AdS/CFT correspondence. His contributions to string theory have centered around compactifications and properties of the low energy effective action. The focus of his work on quantum field theory have been conformal field theories, their anomalies and their dual description through the AdS/CFT correspondence. | |
