Bose-Einstein condensates have emerged as a leading platform in the analogue gravity program, which seeks to simulate the behavior of quantum fields in curved spacetimes within controlled laboratory settings. In this talk, I will explore how these systems can experimentally simulate quantum pair (and entanglement) production driven by spacetime expansion. Furthermore, I will argue that BECs hold significant promise as simulators for Relativistic Quantum Information processes—even beyond the traditional (yet often restrictive) framework of cosmological analogies.
