Abstract:
During this last year, there have been several "semiclassical" derivations of the Page curve for an evaporating black hole in AdS. I would like to discuss the main nobelty in these papers, which is the appearance of islands in the holographic entanglement prescription, and their relation with new saddles in the euclidean gravitational path integral.
