Kaluza-Klein Amplitudes in AdS: the Virasoro-Shapiro and the Veneziano Amplitudes.

Abstract:
I will report recent progress on AdS Virasoro-Shapiro and Veneziano amplitudes for half-BPS operators with arbitrary Kaluza-Klein modes. The key ingredient is a bootstrap built directly in the world-sheet representation, together with a novel formalism. This approach yields a structural string description of AdS amplitude and a precise correspondence with correlators in N=4 SYM: at first curvature order we obtain a unique solution. I will also discuss the applications to broader holographic models beyond AdS5*S5.
