IFT Seminar Room/Red Room
Although ΛCDM is the widely accepted standard model of Cosmology, there is an increasing number of tensions or discrepancies identified within it. This presentation will explore the most significant tensions, the Hubble and S8 tensions, considering a potential solution that involves new late-time Physics. Furthermore, we will discuss the use of Machine Learning in Cosmology, including its potential for analyzing large amounts of data from surveys as well as its ability to identify and constraint deviations from General Relativity. The role of gravitational waves in testing the ΛCDM model will also be examined, with a focus on the potential of the third generation gravitational wave detectors such as LISA and the Einstein Telescope, as well as the potential use of Machine Learning to separate overlapping gravitational wave signals in the future.
