After the discovery of a Higgs particle in 2012 at the CERN
Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the investigation and profiling
of the Higgs boson is among the most important tasks of
particle physics. Many extensions of the Standard Model (SM)
suggest that the sector of electroweak symmetry breaking,
where the Higgs boson is central, plays a key role in the
new structures, both theoretically and phenomenologically.
On the other hand, the excellent global agreement of
experimental observations at high-energy colliders with SM
predictions asks for high precision measurements and
corresponding predictions. The talk reviews precision
aspects of Higgs physics at the LHC, highlighting recent
developments in the field of perturbative precision
calculations for particle colliders.
