Expression of interest: Ayudas de atracción de talento investigador "César Nombela" 2023

The IFT welcomes expressions of interest for the forthcoming opening of five-year research positions under the programme Ayudas de atracción de talento investigador "César Nombela" 2023 of the Regional Government of Madrid. Detailed information about the call can be found in the webpage of the programme.

The formal opening is expected for September 2023, with a tight deadline. Applications have to be filed directly by IFT, and candidates will be selected among the expressions of interest received through the form linked here.

Interested candidates with scientific expertise in the areas of particle phenomenology, astroparticle physics, string theory, gravitation and cosmology, lattice and quantum field theory, or quantum information theory, should file an expression of interest before August 30, 2023. Candidates selected for formal application will be contacted directly by the IFT management in early September 2023.

Applicants are expected to fulfill the following conditions:

  • PhD between 1st Jan 2011 and 31st Dec 2020
  • For at least one year of the last two, the researcher must have been linked to an R&D institution or organization located outside of Spain.
