Welcome to the IFT

We are very happy to welcome you to the Institute of Theoretical Physics UAM-CSIC (IFT).

The IFT is a joint research center belonging to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). It is the only Spanish center dedicated entirely to research in Theoretical Physics. IFT members develop research in the frontiers of Elementary Particle Physics, Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology, searching for the fundamental keys of Nature and the Universe. 

In this welcome leaflet you can find some useful information to ease your arrival and to help you adapt as quickly as possible to your new position.

If you have just arrived to IFT, our administration personnel is there to help you regarding bureaucratic issues, mailing lists, computing, internet connections or any other thing you may need concerning your daily life at IFT. You may contact them via e-mail or visit them at the 5th floor of the IFT building.

Es un placer darte la bienvenida al Instituto de Física Teórica UAM-CSIC (IFT).

El IFT es un centro de investigación mixto perteneciente al Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) y la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Es el único centro español dedicado íntegramente a la investigación en Física Teórica. Los miembros del IFT desarrollan investigaciones en las fronteras de la Física de Partículas Elementales, la Física de Astropartículas y la Cosmología, en busca de las claves fundamentales de la Naturaleza y el Universo.

En este folleto de bienvenida puedes encontrar información útil para facilitar tu llegada y ayudarte a adaptarte lo más rápido posible a tu nuevo puesto.

Si acabas de llegar al IFT, nuestro personal administrativo está para ayudarte en temas burocráticos, listas de correo, cómputo, conexión a internet o cualquier otra cosa que necesites en tu día a día en el IFT. Puede contactarlos por e-mail o visitarlos en el quinto piso del edificio del IFT.
