Broadly speaking, I am interested in theoretical aspects of quantum field theory and gravitation. My most recent work deals with holographic approaches to quantum gravity in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence and beyond. In particular, I am curious about the proposal that quantum computational complexity is relevant to the holographic reconstruction of spacetime. These ideas are expected to play a crucial role in deep open questions, such as the fate of cosmological singularities and the information paradox in black holes.
