My areas of scientific expertise encompass the physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), its implications for Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experimental searches and its impact on the first instants of the evolution of our Universe. I am currently focused on: 1) The study of the recently discovered 125 GeV Higgs boson and possible new Higgs particles. 2) The detectability of gravitational waves (GW) from the electroweak epoch of the early Universe. 3) The origin of the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry of the Universe. 4) The search for Dark Matter at the LHC. I am member of the LISA Cosmology Working Group -- assessing the potential of ESA's future LISA Mission to detect early Universe GW sources --, the LHC Higgs Working Group and the LHC Dark Matter Working Group.
