SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Kiwoon Choi is visiting us Dr. Kiwoon Choi from CTPU/IBS, Daejeon is visiting the IFT for the period from March 7th to 11th, 2016. His office number is 304. His research interests are: Physics beyond the SM, Low energy supersymmetry, Axion cosmology.
Dr. Agostino Patella is visiting us Dr. Agostino Patella from CERN and Plymouth University is visiting the IFT for the period February 26th to March 3rd, 2016. His office number is B16. His research focuses on theoretical aspects and numerical simulations of strongly-coupled gauge theories, discretized on a lattice. His interests include fundamental aspects and phenomenological applications of conformal gauge theories, large-N limits of gauge theories and large-N equivalences. Recently he has developed an interest in isospin-breaking corrections to QCD, and in particular in the inclusion of radiative corrections to hadronic quantities in numerical simulations.
Dr. Oscar Cata is visiting us Dr. Oscar Cata from LMU Munich is visiting the IFT for the period February 22nd to 26th, 2016. His office number is 401. His research interest are: effective field theories (EFTs) within and beyond the Standard Model, with particular interest in building consistent frameworks to characterize deviations in Higgs couplings in a model-independent way.
SO(IFT) Research Associate Dr. Jos Vermaseren is visiting us Dr. Jos Vermaseren from Nikhef Amsterdam is visiting the IFT for the period February 24th to 26th, 2016. His office number is 401. Jos Vermaseren's research focuses on calculations in perturbative field theory, with excursions into mathematics and computer science whenever this is needed for his main topic.
