Beyond Standard Model searches with the ATLAS detector

The search for beyond-the-standard model (BSM) physics is one of the main goals of the research program at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In this talk, an overview, including a selection of recent results of BSM searches with data collected by the ATLAS detector at LHC is presented.
