Abstract:

Abstract: Topological phases of matter are mostly commonly discussed for fully gapped systems.
Here, I will discuss a perspective on topological phases of matter in terms of
conformal field theories (CFTs) which describe gapless quantum systems.
More specifically, I will discuss the use of boundary CFT to discuss properties
of topological phases of matter both in  (1+1)d and (2+1)d.
