Abstract:
Despite the phenomenal progress in our understanding of the laws of nature and the Universe, how much do we really understand at a fundamental level? Cosmology has provided us, in the last two decades, with new clues about nature, specially dark energy. Nowadays, the free parameters of the standard LCDM model are measured at % accuracy, but we do not know what dark matter and dark energy are, or how the universe originated; how are we going to make progress? In this talk I will summarize some new ideas to go beyond the standard model of cosmology and find new clues about the nature of its dark components.
