Abstract:

In the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), the leading effects are expected from the interference between the Standard Model (SM) and the dimension-six operators. This interference is however often suppressed, at least at the level of the total cross-section. Fortunately, differential measurements can be used some cases to revive the interference. I will present a method to quantify the efficiency of observables to revive the interference and apply it to jets and weak boson production.
