ERC, why not?

The European Research Council (ERC), established by the European Commission in 2007, offers highly attractive and competitive grants for the development of challenging individual research projects and collaborative projects of up to 4 PIs. We provide a comprehensive overview of the structure of the ERC, the evaluation process and general tips for successful proposals. The aim of the presentation is to encourage you to apply by dispelling some of the myths that might prevent you from doing so, especially in the field of particle physics where there is still much room for improvement.
