Abstract:

Freeze-in mechanism for dark matter (DM) production is lately gaining a lot of popularity because of 1) lack of WIMP evidence, and 2) the possibility to probe it at experiments may not be at all hopeless, as one may naively expect. In this talk I present the state-of-the-art of the freeze-in DM production and focus on the phenomenological possibilities being considered nowadays, including the study of long-lived particles at the LHC.
