GENEVA: an NNLO / NNLL event generator

I will discuss the event generator GENEVA, which combines fixed order calculations at NNLO with resummation at NNLL, all merged with a parton shower. I will describe the theoretical setup of the calculation, paying special attention to the constraints put by demanding the calculation to be cast as an exclusive event generator. I will then present results for our implementation of pp -> Z + jets.
