Blue Room
I shall start by recalling a few salient features of LHC construction and of the Higgs boson discovery. Then, I shall consider the reasons why we expect new physics beyond the Standard Theory (ST) at accessible, TeV, energies. New particles could be found in the next LHC run, such as some Supersymmetry partners of the known particles, or additional Higgs bosons, or new strong interactions at high energy, or, finally, deviations from ST predictions due to virtual effects. Present experiments are still at the border of the crucial region. Projects of new facilities to extend the discovery region beyond the LHC will be reported.
