Abstract:

Away from the t’Hooft limit, it is expected that both faces of the holographic coin get modified. On the gravity side, the supergravity action acquires higher derivative contributions, while the CFT partition function and similar objects get subleading terms in the large-N expansion. In this session of the HoloClub, we will focus on the interplay between 3d SCFTs and 4d gauged supergravity with four-derivative terms, which will be shown to depend on only two real parameters. Combining the results for the corrected on-shell action with localisation techniques, we will show that the partition function of the 3d SCFT has a universal structure.
