Abstract:

Various short-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments have yielded unexpected results, which hint at the existence of light sterile neutrinos. IceCube has conducted two distinct searches for sterile neutrinos, leveraging both vacuum and matter-enhanced resonant oscillations. By analyzing atmospheric neutrinos across the GeV and TeV energy ranges, significant insights have been gained. In this seminar, I will present the latest findings from these investigations and discuss their implications within the framework of the 3+1 neutrino landscape.
