Abstract:
Neutrino masses cannot be explained within the Standard Model. Many new physics models address this question by adding right-handed neutrinos to the SM. These right-handed neutrinos are generally not expected to be observed at the LHC due either to their large masses or small couplings to the SM particles. I will give a different approach, in which we account for the SM neutrino masses via a pesudo-Dirac bino in an R-symmetric SUSY model. This model can be probed by LHC jets+MET and leptoquarks searches. I will also talk about our ongoing work to look for a long-lived pseudo-Dirac bino at the LHC.
