Nature loves us, loves us not…

While awaiting for the LHC final verdict, theorists are preparing for the possible outcomes -- zero or some evidence for new physics. I will discuss two recent proposals (relaxions and dilatons) that are relevant for the two extreme outcomes and still cope with naturalness problems.
