Holography offers a more or less clear map between the physics happening in a quantum field theory at finite T and the exterior of a black hole in an asymptotic AdS spacetime. Nonetheless, it is expected that the physics of the black hole interior is somehow encoded in the QFT. We will show how the proper time between the horizon of the black hole and the singularity is encoded in one-point functions. To that end we focus on a scalar field coupled to higher curvature terms. The computations is done exactly in the simplest case. Later on we will see how to extract all the relevant information through the geodesic approximation, which is handier for more complicated setups.
