The Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT CSIC/UAM welcomes applications to a postdoctoral position in astroparticle phenomenology (1+1 years).

The candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Daniele Gaggero, in close collaboration with the astroparticle group at IFT and in the context of several international collaborations (including CTA), on a variety of topics including cosmic-ray transport theory and phenomenology, modeling of the gamma-ray emission from the Galaxy, indirect dark matter searches (WIMPs, primordial black holes), connections between gravitational waves and fundamental physics, cosmology.  The position starts in fall 2019, the candidate should have the PhD before June 30, 2019. Young candidates with strong coding skills (c++, python) are encouraged to apply.
