Thirty theoretical physics researchers and predoctoral researchers will have the opportunity to train alongside nine international experts in diverse fields during the summer school of the European network EuroPLEx, in a meeting that will be hosted by the Center for Sciences of Benasque Pedro Pascual.
The training program will last two weeks. Between June 5 and 10, the participants will receive training in advanced topics in Quantum Field Theory, Holography and Resurgence. The second week of the school, from June 13 to 18, will be dedicated to quantum computing and the connection between the formulation of particle physics on the lattice with supercomputing and machine learning techniques.
The summer school is organized by the European Network for Particle Physics, Lattice Field Theory and Extreme Computing (EuroPLEx), a network funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program in which nine research groups from six European countries participate.
