IFT takes part in the CSIC Conference on Scientific Culture and Citizen Science

The term citizen science refers to any scientific activity that aims to generate new knowledge through the participation of citizens (in the sense of conscious and intentional involvement), who can take part at various stages of the scientific process, from designing the project to collecting data, analyzing the results, or distributing them.

Outreach and citizen science are two components of society that directly involve research centers. This is why IFT-UAM/CSIC will be attending the Conference on Scientific Culture and Citizen Science organized by the CSIC on June 13th-14th. The talk will be given by our researcher Ángel Uranga, titled "IFT, a youtuber institute".
