Renewal of the collaboration agreement IFT - IBS Korea

Angel Uranga and Kiwoon Choi, as Directors of IFT and Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe of the Institute for Basic Science, Korea, have signed the renewal of the collaboration agreement between their institutions, to foster the exchange of visitors and promote joint scientific projects.

IFT coorganizes the 102nd Plenary ECFA meeting

The IFT participates in the organization of the European Committee for Future Accelerators (ECFA) meeting of July 19-20. ECFA is an advisory body for CERN Management, CERN Council and its Committees, and to other national and international organizations, on the long-term planning of European High-Energy Physics.

Juan García-Bellido awarded by Physics Letters B

Juan García-Bellido has been awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution made to the quality of the journal Physics Letters B.  He has reviewed several papers as referee in the last years, in which the impact factor of the journal has been increased. More information: 

Postdocs at the IFT within the "La Caixa Junior Leader" program

The Institute of Theoretical Physics IFT UAM-CSIC participates in the "La Caixa Junior Leader" program, which finances 22 3-year postdocs with additional money for research specifically for Centers of Excellence, for candidates satisfying the mobility rule, and 10 postdocs for those not.
