Visita de la ganadora del concurso Ciencia Clip Latinoamérica 2019

La ganadora del Premio Especial del concurso de vídeos de divulgación Ciencia Clip Lationamérica 2019, Gabriela Pérez, de Maracaibo, Venezuela, está visitando el IFT y conociendo sus líneas de investigación. El Premio Especial consiste en un viaje a Europa, visitando el IFT en Madrid, el CERN en Ginebra, y el ICTP en Trieste.

Curso para profesores "Introducción a la Física de Partículas"

El IFT, en colaboración con el CIEMAT y la Comunidad de Madrid, imparte el curso para profesores de Enseñanza Secundaria "Introducción a la Física de Partículas para profesores de Ciencias y Tecnología", que tendrá lugar en el IFT los días 28, 30 de Enero, y 4, 6, 11, 13 y 18 de Febrero, de 17h a 20h.

In Memory of Mathieu Boudaud

We at the IFT are very sad to announce that Mathieu Boudaud passed away on the 9th of January in Barcelona. Mathieu had recently joined the IFT as a postdoc in the Astroparticle group. He was a kind and gentle person, beloved by his family, friends and colleagues, and a very talented scientist, who worked with passion and enthusiasm.
