The First Telescope on a Cherenkov Telescope Array Site Makes its Debut

The Cherenkov telescope array (CTA) celebrated on October 10th 2018 the inauguration of its first telescope. The new telescope, named LST-1, is intended to become the first of the four Large Size Telescopes (LSTs) on the CTA-North site, which is located at the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos in La Palma island.

Belén Gavela appointed for the European Strategy Physics Preparatory Group

Belén Gavela has been appointed as particle theory representative of the CERN Scientific Policy Committee at the Physics Preparatory Group for the update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, that starts now and is scheduled to conclude in May 2020.
