Postdoctoral position in black hole physics and holography

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in theoretical physics at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) in Madrid. The position is expected to start as soon as possible (and no later than February 1, 2026).

The appointment will be for one year, but might be extended if additional funding is secured. We are seeking candidates with a PhD in theoretical physics and a strong research background in black hole physics and holography, broadly defined.
