Research Interests

My research explores one of the most fascinating mysteries in physics: the nature of dark matter. I focus on the search for dark matter using gamma rays, working within several international collaborations. I am an active member of the Fermi-LAT Collaboration, where I served as Science and Analysis Coordinator of the entire collaboration and also as coordinator of its Dark Matter Science Working Group. I am also a member of the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) collaboration (former Dark Matter Science Working Group coordinator) and recently joined the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Collaboration. Alongside the observational dark matter search, I study the structure of dark matter halos and subhalos via numerical cosmological simulations, how they form and evolve over cosmic time, and what these insights mean for detecting dark matter particles.
