My current research mainly focuses on the search for dark matter with gamma rays. I am a member of the Fermi-LAT Collaboration (coordinator of the dark matter science working group), of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) Consortium and former member of the MAGIC Collaboration. I recently joined the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Collaboration as well. My work also aims to understand the structural properties of dark matter halos and subhalos, their formation and evolution over cosmic time, and the implications for dark matter searches. In short, my research interests include i) gamma-ray dark matter searches, ii) diffuse gamma-ray backgrounds, iii) axion-like particle searches, iv) CDM halos and subhalos, v) numerical cosmological simulations.
