I am interested in understanding the origin of structure and matter in cosmos. My primary interest in this context is the physics of the early universe as a probe of fundamental physics at energies inaccessible by current terrestrial laboratories. Some of the questions I find interesting include: What is the underlying physics that controls the evolution of the universe in its earliest moments? How does the universe got populated with stuff during hot big bang evolution? What is the nature of dark matter?
