Dr. Anibal Medina is visiting us

Dr. Anibal Medina from Instituto de Fisica La Plata is visiting the IFT for the period September 24th to 28th, 2018. His research interests lie on physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics such as in Supersymmetry, Extra Dimensions, Composite models, dark matter among others. He is a phenomenologist and as such He has worked in model building as well studying constraints and predictions of several of these frameworks which can be probed at current colliders like the LHC, as well as in astrophysical and cosmological situations. In fact, this provides a very interesting link between particle physics, cosmology and astrophysics.
